My journey into construction began in my childhood, watching my dad build an addition to our family home. I was captivated by how a few materials could transform into something meaningful. A few years later, when he decided to construct his dream house, I became his helper — coordinating with trades and reporting back to him each night. Those experiences instilled in me a sense of responsibility, problem-solving skills, and ignited my lifelong passion for building.
Throughout university, I worked part-time on small office and home renovations, and after graduating, I built my career in construction — from luxury homes in Toronto and Richmond Hill to large-scale multi-unit projects. Over the years, I learned that what truly matters isn’t just the build itself — it’s the trust, communication, and care behind it.
In 2020, I founded Bashi Homes Inc. to bring that hands-on experience — spanning more than 25 years — directly to homeowners. Our focus includes home additions, accessible bathroom renovations, and full home remodels across Ancaster, Hamilton, and Burlington.
Some of my proudest work includes the complete renovation of Trails Café in Ancaster, transforming it into a fully accessible, community-focused space, and managing the construction of a luxury estate home in Richmond Hill for one of the area’s leading builders.
